  1. Next Sunday, the service will he Holy Communion with Sunday School at the usual time of 9.30.
  2. The funeral service for Ann Ashworth will be held here in church on Friday at 12.30
  3. Please check the notice board, website or Facebook for the services as we approach Holy Weeks as the usual patters may have changed and extra services have been added
  4. The Diocese of Blackburn was created in September 1926 which makes 2026 its 1st Centenary and the weekend of 11-13th September will be full of celebratory events in church’s throughout Lancashire. Some outline planning of what we want to do was started at the PCC meeting last Wednesday and we have an outline of what we would like to do in the Friday,Saturday & Sunday of that weekend. We thought that it would be a good idea to form a small team to work on the bringing together of these plans. We also thought that we should ask if any members of the congregation would like to join that team. It shouldn’t be too onerous a job and it really would be good to see some new ideas being thrown into the pot. – this is your church and it will only continue to be the vibrant, innovative and loved church that it is if we all pull together to keep it that way, so please do give it some thought and speak to Les or Sue if you would like to help.
