About Our Vicar
Fond Farewell to Reverend Toby Webber
After 11 years of faithful ministry, we say a heartfelt goodbye to Reverend Toby as he leaves us here at St James’ to begin his new chapter in Chorley.
We are deeply grateful for his leadership, his kindness and the countless ways he has supported our church family.
We wish him every blessing as he continues his ministry in his new parish and we pray that this next step brings him fulfilment and joy.
During this time of vacancy we are delighted to welcome Reverend Peter Dillon our new Self-supporting Associate Priest (SSM)
As Associate Priest Peter is fully trained and able to contribute to all aspects of ministry. He won’t be our new vicar but he will be invaluable during the vacancy and will work alongside our new vicar once the vacancy is filled.
