Notices for 16th November 2025

Oct 9, 2025

Church will be open this afternoon from 1.30pm with a guided tour at 2pm.

The service next Sunday will be Holy Communion at 09.30 which will be the last Sunday in the church’s year, when we celebrate Christ the King, because the following Sunday, two weeks today, will be Advent Sunday the first Sunday in the new church year.

On Thursday morning this week the open the book team will be rehearsing in All Saints church at 9.15am.

The Angels service will take place in school on Wednesday at 3.30pm.

There is no better time that November to become a member of the lottery or to buy an extra number because the monthly prize in December Doubles to £250. So, to give yourself a 100:1 change of winning, why not take up the one spare number. £5 a month with a single monthly prize of £125 except December.
Talking of December, our biggest fund raising event takes place in the form of the Christmas Raffle. We have again been able to obtain sponsorship of the first prize, which is £500 in cash so I am asking everyone who treats this fabulous church as “their church” to take some raffle tickets to sell. We desperately need to raise a lot of money to go some way to funding the repairs which have been carried out this year, which so far, amounts to £16000 and a further £4500 already committed. Would you also please think about any suitable items which you have which you could donate as raffle prizes.
