Prayer Ministry
Here at St James’ we have a ‘Prayer Corner’ should any one wish to take part in private prayer with a member of the pastoral team.
This is available on the 4th Sunday of each month at the end of the service.
The pastoral team member will sit at the front in the area around the font and you will be welcome to sit with them to pray. Should you just wish to talk about something then that’s okay too.
You will be asked what your need for prayer is, but it is up to you how much or how little you wish to share.It doesn’t have to be about you. It may be that you know of someone who doesn’t, or can’t, get to church and we can offer prayers for them.
You won’t be rushed and the time we spend praying or talking is up to you.

Heavenly Father, we embrace Your call for us to make disciples, to be witnesses, to grow leaders and inspire children and young people. Give us eyes to see Your vision, ears to hear the prompting of Your Spirit and courage to follow in the footsteps of your Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen
